Marengoni is the first primary school that we were introduced to in 2013.  We were immediately gripped by the spirit of the teachers, the sisters who worked there and the students.  Marengoni was originally started by the Apostles of Jesus and the Knights of Columbus from America and is an excellent primary school.   Since Building a Bridge to Uganda has gotten involved with Marengoni, we have built numerous buildings including teacher’s houses and dormitories, and we have provided them with playground equipment as well as renovations and rehabilitation of the existing structures that the Knights of Columbus had originally installed.  Marengoni has over 200 students.
